Collaborative work with the Reniere group on the nutritional landscape of sputum samples from cystic fibrosis patients is posted online at BioRxiv.

Katherine Legg performed low molecular weight thiol profiling of these sputum samples as part of a larger work originating with Michelle Reinier’s group at the University of Washington. This manuscript describes the genetic requirements and nutrient availability for the growth of Staphylococcus aureus in cystic fibrosis sputum. This preprint can be accessed here and is currently under peer review.  Congratulations Katherine!!
